NEWSPAPER TYPOGRAPHY

This was an exercise in combining hand-crafted typography with a digital typeface. The word "malaria" was crafted using corn syrup and food coloring to simulate water (since the disease is water-borne). I then juxtaposed it with a tall, thin sans serif to mimic the nature and appearance of a mosquito.

Deliverable: One 11"x17" advertisement on newsprint
